Return & Refund Policy

At Bansidhar Cloth, we take pride in offering premium fabrics, ethnic wear, and handcrafted textiles. Our goal is to provide you with products of the highest quality and ensure your complete satisfaction. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds can be processed.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

A. Damaged or Defective Products

You may request a return if:

  • The item arrives damaged

  • The item is defective

  • You receive the wrong product

Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with evidence (images or videos).

B. Wrong Size or Product Variation

If you receive an incorrect size or design different from what you ordered, you may request a return or exchange.

C. Product Condition

Returned items must be:

  • Unused and unwashed

  • In their original packaging

  • With all tags, labels, and accessories intact


2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Cut fabrics/Unstitched material sold by meter

  • Customized, tailored, or altered garments

  • Clearance or sale items (unless damaged/defective)

  • Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper washing

  • Handloom and handcrafted items with natural variations in weave, texture, or color (these are not considered defects)


3. Return Request Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at bansidharclothstore@gmail.com within the applicable time frame.

  2. Provide:

    • Order number

    • Reason for return

    • Photos/videos of the product (if defective or incorrect)

  3. Our team will review and approve/reject your request.

  4. If approved, you will receive:

    • Instructions for packaging

    • Pickup schedule or return address


4. Return Shipping

  • If the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping cost.

  • For all other reasons, the customer may need to bear the return shipping charges.

Returned products must be securely packaged to avoid damage during transport.


5. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are offered for:

  • Size issues (if available)

  • Replacement of defective/damaged items

  • Wrong product sent

If the requested item is out of stock, a refund or store credit may be issued. approved exchange will be delivered within 7-10 days.


6. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only after the returned product is:

  • Received

  • Inspected

  • Approved by our quality check team

Refund Method

Refunds will be processed via:

  • Original mode of payment (UPI, card, wallet, etc.) within 7-10 days.

  • Store credit (if chosen by customer)

Refund Timeline

Refunds usually take:

  • 5–7 business days to reflect in your account after approval
    (Timelines may vary depending on your bank/payment provider.)


7. Shipping & Order Cancellation

Shipping

Once the order is recieved we will ship the order within 2-4 hours & the product will be delivered to you within 7 days based on availability of courier and delivery partner.

Before Dispatch

Orders can be canceled within 4–12 hours of placing the order or before dispatch.

After Dispatch

Cancellation is not possible once the order is shipped. However, you may initiate a return after receiving the product (as per the policy).


8. Color, Texture & Handloom Variations

Many of our products are handcrafted or handwoven, including Banarasi, Patola, and traditional fabrics. Natural variations in:

  • Color

  • Threadwork

  • Weave patterns

  • Motifs

are normal and not considered defects.


9. Incorrect Address or Delivery Failure

If an order cannot be delivered due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Customer unavailability

  • Failure to receive the parcel after multiple attempts

Reshipping may incur additional charges. Refunds (if approved) may exclude shipping fees.
